Hi there— I'm Mariam Tabrez, J.D., LL.M, and the founder of Empowered Contract Review LLC. I've worked with a plethora of different clients from A-list celebrities, Broadway stars, musicians, and content creators to small business owners and physicians.

My legal education was focused on contract drafting, and review, particularly in the entertainment and fashion industries. I also acquired a Master of Laws (LL.M) at Fordham University School fo Law to further my expertise in intellectual property and information technology.

Most recently, I worked for one of the largest social media and technology companies in the world, reviewing their contracts and writing their operation guidelines.

Through these experiences, I not only learned just how crucial it is to know what you’re signing before you actually do but also how expensive contract review services are.

I wanted to start a company that helped you with the first step to entering any deal - knowledge. Once you know exactly what the contract means, you can feel confident interacting with big name companies and brands.
